Make it a habit to tell people thank you. To express your appreciation, sincerely and without the expectation of anything in return. Truly appreciate
those around you, and you'll soon find many others around you. Truly appreciate life, and you'll find that you have more of it.
-- Ralph Marston
So often we don't appreciate the little things in life. Someone doing something to make our lives easier for no other reason than they can. We should thank them.
If you smile and say thank you to someone for being nice, they'll feel good. And they'll like that feeling. You have just started a positive chain reaction. You feel good because someone did something nice for you, and they feel good because you recognised that and reacted in a positive way by thanking them.
It's also good manners to thank someone for doing something for you, just like saying please. I don't expect to be thanked, but its really really nice when someone does - I feel appreciated.
So next time someone does something nice for you, no matter how insignificant it may seem, say thank you - pass that warm glow of appreciation on.
On my part, I'd like to start by thanking you very much for being interested enough to take the time to read what I write on this site. Bless you, and have a wonderful day today.
